Magnum manufactures umbilical lines from 50' to 100' for use with our 24 volt ignition cans as shown above, or for use with a DC welding machine. Both provide the diver with complete control over voltage for ignition.

Our umbilicals include the following:
- R rated .375 diameter 200 psi burst rated oxygen hose.
- Ignition cables for positive and negative current.
- Switch cables for controlling the solenoid.
- Button switch that connects to the ground clamp.
- Heavy duty spring operated ground clamp.
- Optional striker plate connected to top of ground plate.
- Solenoid switch.
- Cam lok cable quick connect for torch.
- All necessary cables for connecting to batteries or welder.
- Shrink wrap straps for cable management.
This item is new to the industry. Divers can now cut underwater with the added security of being in complete control of their ignition, rather than relying on a communication link and a topside tender.

Pressing the button on the ground clamp activates the solenoid. The solenoid closes the negative side of the current going to the torch. When the operator brings the cutting tube into contact with the ground clamp plate, with the button pressed, ignition will take place. If the operator is using our 24 volt system, 24 volts will travel through the torch during ignition. If using a DC welder, 150 amps ignites the torch when the button is pressede and the cutting rod is brought into contact with the ground plate, or the material being ground. As soon as the operator releases the button, the solenoid opens and the circuit is broken.

Our umbilicals are used on land as well as in marine situations.
