Ignition sources for cutting equipment
DC Ignition Systems provide ultimate convenience for cutting and much more.Click here for replacement batteries. 12 volt ignitions.
Deluxe 12 volt patented ignitions come in two styles. The larger model can be used in tandem with a patch cord to create a patented 24 volt underwater ignition system.
Our deluxe ignition systems provide rapid starts in all weather conditions. Ignition systems come in both regular size (18 amp hour) and large size (26 amp hour).
MAG0021: Large deluxe ignition (26 amp hours). If you need to cut all day, this is the ignition you want. Unbelievable power and utility from a single source. The above photo is shown with charging adapter. Note the light and battery fuel gauge monitor the continual state of the battery with the switch off.
Powerful 12 volt 4 amp float charger for maintaining a fresh battery at all times when the ignition is not in use. LED displays show charging and fully charged status. Simply plug into any 110 volt outlet and insert the male charge adapter into the accessory slot for automatic service.
Approximately five feet of jumper cables fitted with cam locks on one end. The cam locks fit into the face of the ignition can for starting optional equipment like trucks, welders and more.
Optional igniter head with short cable connects directly into the face of the can using the color coded cam locks. This option provides for additional distance from the ignition can.
Igniter prongs plugged directly into the front of the ignition can shown igniting a flame cutting tube for ultimate portability. Is ships with a leather shield that fits behind the cam locks to protect the can.
Inside view of components. Note the heavy duty master switch, T connectors, insulators and color coded cables for ultimate field reliability. All connections are soldered and shrink coated.
MAG0022: Standard deluxe ignition (18 amp hours). Although smaller and lighter than our larger models, this model has sufficient power for multiple ignitions between charges.
Photo of float chargers maintaining several batteries. Chargers are fully automated. Merely plug in the adapter, cycle the power on and off until lights remain illuminated when the power switch is off. Batteries will remain fresh without overcharging. If you need additional reach, consider this option.
Our standard cable igniter with 15' of leads for connection to any 12 volt battery. Our standard cable igniter can be special ordered with cam locks in place of the alligator clips to work with our deluxe ignition systems. 24 volt ignitions.MAG0024™ Patented underwater 24 volt ignition system. This system replaces gas operated welding machines and knife switches necessitating a topside tender to turn the current on and off in between rod changes.
Photo of our unique patch cord elevating two 12 volt ignitions to 24 volts for rapid ignitions in underwater situations. Note the solenoid on the side of the ignition can. The solenoid closes the ignition circuit when a button switch is depressed on the torch end of the umbilical line. Connections are conveniently marked. The solenoid is color coded for error proof connections. This is the first of its kind on the market.
The dual 24 volt ignition fits snugly into one side of the double case for convenient hose and cable management.
When a ground is difficult on the parent material, we have designed a copper striker plate with button switch. Press the button and rods are instantly ignited.
Knife switches are eliminated with our patent pending 24 volt ignition system.
Note how integrated the oxygen hose and quick cable connect fit into the torch.
Our 24 volt ignition system fitted into a case that also serves as a flotation device when a tender is not required. The system will cut for over an hour underwater and up to two hours on land. Additional ignition options: MAG0025™ For special circumstances, we have pug tube igniters. A tightly wound cardboard tube sits atop a metal stand. A spark or match ignites the tube, which in turn ignites flame tubes in approximately five seconds. For dry atmospheres only.
The field igniter will continue to smoulder allowing for multiple ignitions without battery or support equipment. Will ignite up to twenty flame tubes or more using a sparker or match.
